We encourage children and parents to read regularly together and to record these sessions in the reading journal.

Children are expected to learn spellings and multiplication tables on a regular basis and parental co-operation is greatly appreciated.

Sometimes children will be asked to do some independent research at home or perhaps complete a piece of work begun in school. We believe it is important that any homework is done in an enthusiastic and positive way.
