We kicked off Anti-Bullying Week 2023 with a whole school assembly delivered by the anti-bullying ambassadors. They introduced themselves, discussed the theme of the week 'make a noise about bullying' and what activities will take place. Each child wore odd socks to celebrate that everybody is unique., the ambassadors chose a winner from each class for an added bit of fun! The anti-bullying ambassadors delivered a lesson to each class throughout the week. Most classes created a poem about bullying and EYFS had a circle time discussion about how they are special and unique, followed by drawing around their hand and filling with pictures to represent this. We have all had a great week and have a deeper understanding of who, how and when we can 'make a noise.' Have a look at some of the photographs below to see our Anti-Bullying Week in action!
